Philosophy Di Alberta Ferretti Crocodile Effect Platform Pumps; $635 Its really rare to see Velcro used on a high heel, I thought I had left Velcro behind in third grade when I traded in my Velcro, light-up princess sneakers. Looking at the beautiful brown, faux crocodile leather… I was almost able to look past the Velcro - I was reasoning that Velcro is way easier than buckles to get on and off. The silver cap on the toe was a really nice touch, too. Then, I noticed a hint of blue right above the silver. WHY?! The blue part is described as a “blue velvet insert”. I love blue and all, but it totally ruined the shoe for me… just as I was getting past the Velcro.
